I got the Kindle version of the book and it's ok. It's much easier to read than the print version. I also have the print version of Christopher Schwarz previous book, Workbenches From Design and Theory to Construction and Use. This is probably the better of the two. At least I was more interested in the benches in this book. Some of the explanation of the construction techniques could be clearer. Maybe with the parts in hand and working through it the explanations might make more sense. Maybe that is just me. The pictures in the Kindle version are pretty poor. They don't occur where they should in relation to the text. And the prints of the benches are terrible. Not clear, too small and pretty much useless if you plan on using them to make a bench. The print version of the previous book has prints of the benches that are excellent and could easily be used in constructing a bench. So, I would probably not buy the Kindle version if I had it to do over again. I like that the text is easier to read but the real value in the book is the prints if you ask me. And they are not good in the kindle version.
